Last week I said I wouldn’t do it. I simply couldn’t pick a golfer to win at

13/2, especially one who hadn’t shown the ability to make putts down the

stretch. And yet the bulked up legend Bryson DeChambeau proved my

theory wrong yet again. Still, at least all three of us cashed tickets so the

weekend wasn’t a total loss.

This week the PGA Tour is on to Dublin, Ohio and Muirfield Country Club

for the first of two consecutive tournaments. This week’s one-off event is

the Workday Charity Open, a last-minute replacement for the John Deere

Classic. I expect the course to play significantly easier than next week’s

Memorial Tournament, so a score close to 20 under par once again

wouldn’t surprise me.

No DeChambeau in the field for once which should make for a more

unpredictable leaderboard. Not sure I see a bomb winning this tournament

but the chalk don’t seem like favored plays either.

Once again the rules:

Each week, Harry, Parlay Kid, and I will get a simulated $200 to bet…$100

on golfers to win that week’s tournament and another $100 to be spread

amongst top-5, top-10, and top-20 bets. We’ll track the progress to see

who does the best and whether we can produce positive ROIs.

Here are this week’s plays for the Workday Charity Open:
