Well I think it’s fair to say that golf will never be the same thanks

in part to the newish methods of Bryson DeChambeau.

Apparently bulking up and hitting it a country mile are a formula

for success in a major tournament after all.

DeChambeau was very good through the first three days of the

U.S. Open but what he did on Sunday, while 3 rd round leader

Matthew Wolff faded, was so impressive. A six shot win on the

toughest course of the year. The only player in the entire

tournament under par…by SIX SHOTS!!

As someone who needed Patrick Reed and Xander Schauffele to

win, watching this past weekend was flat out painful. But congrats

to both Parlay Kid and Harry for picking Bryson…and also to

Parlay Kid for betting that Justin Thomas would have the best

round of the tournament (65, which he shared with Wolff). He

moved from significant in negative return to within shouting

distance of my total. Well done.

This week the tour moves to Puerto Rico for likely the most

watered down event of the season (along with two weeks ago).

Good luck picking a winner...but if one of us does, we should

increase our bankroll plenty.

Once again the rules for our challenge:

Each week, Harry, Parlay Kid, Producer Michael and I will get a

simulated $200 to bet…$100 on golfers to win that week’s

tournament and another $100 to be spread amongst top-5, top-

10, top-20, and other prop bets. We’ll track the progress to see

who does the best and whether we can produce positive ROIs.
