Though this week’s Memorial Tournament is one of those mini-

majors (as I like to refer to them) with a great field of super stars,

I’d like to take the balance of this column to talk about the Brooks

Koepka-Bryson DeChambeau feud and why it’s so great for golf.

We’ve all seen the Brooks interview on Golf Channel that wasn’t

supposed to get out where he rolled his eyes as Bryson walked

by him. As a fan of the sport, how could you not love it? It went

viral and now we have a true rivalry amongst two of the top

competitors on the PGA Tour!

To me, Brooks comes off as arrogant with a wry sense of humor.

Bryson also has an arrogance about him but he also seems kind

of weird. Both have a social awkwardness of sorts though either is

plenty capable of making a good soundbite.

If the U.S. Open was smart, they would pair these two guys up for

the first two days and even for non-golf fans, it would pique their

curiosity. Even better, can you imagine if Brooks and Bryson

would be in the final twosome of the U.S. Open on Sunday?

Thoroughly riveting!

In the meantime, no Koepka this week in Ohio for Jack Nicklaus’

tournament outside of Columbus…but Bryson, Rory, JT, Rahm,

Morikawa and many other interesting notables will try to capture

one of the trickiest tests among non-major golf courses.

Not one of our experts hit the board for anything last week – a net

$1000 loss. Let’s see if we can once again make money for not

only us but you, the reader!

Once again the rules: each picker will get a simulated $200 to bet;

$100 of which will be on win bets and another $100 on top-5, top-

10, and top-20 bets only. The kicker this time is that the money

can only be spent on a maximum of three golfers in each

category. Picking winners has never been so difficult.
