***UPDATED April 12, 2020***

Hey everyone I've added new props to this article, I hope everyone is staying safe and having a great Sunday.

1st Safety Drafted

-200 Xavier McKinney-Alabama

Led Crimson Tide in tackles with 95 last season

+275 Grant Delpit-LSU

Was preseason All-American but had a bit of a down season compared to 2018

+700 Jeremy Chinn-Southern Illinois

+1200 Antoine Winfield-Minnesota

This could be a sleeper pick considering Winfield had 85 tackles and 7 interceptions in the Big 10 a year ago

+3300 Ashtyn Davis-California

+3300 Kyle Dugger-Lenoir Rhyne

Even though Delpit everyone says will make a great pro the play is to take McKinney. He does a bit of everything (solid numbers in tackles, picks, and forced fumbles).

Xavier McKinney -200

Josh Jones

Offensive Tackle Houston

Over/Under Pick 28.5 Over +105

I don’t see a huge demand in the middle to late 1st round for an offensive lineman until the Titans pick at 29. Tennessee lost right tackle Jack Conklin in free agency to Cleveland so at pick 29, Jones will be their guy.

Over 28.5 +105

Pac 12 Total Number of Players Drafted in the 1st Round

Under 2.5 -230

Over 2.5 +160

1-Justin Herbert QB Oregon

Herbert is a lock in the first 10 picks but where is still up for grabs. I feel the Chargers at 6 since they didn’t take a QB in free agency and 31 year old Tyrod Taylor is their starting QB as of now.

2-Austin Jackson OT USC

Jackson could go 15th-25th in the draft. He is extremely strong and have plenty of potential.

3-Brandon Aiyuk WR Arizona State

Aiyuk is the wildcard with being drafted in the 1st round. He had five games last season for the Sun Devils where he had 140 yards receiving or more. Late in the 1st round he could go to the Packers or the 49ers who are in the need of a wide receiver after losing Emmanuel Sanders in free agency.

Over 2.5 +160

Number of LSU Players Drafted in the 1st Round

Under 5.5 -325

Over 5.5 +215

1-Joe Burrow QB

Burrow is -10,000 on the money line to be the first pick

2-Justin Jefferson WR

Jefferson had an amazing season with 18 receiving touchdowns

3-K’Levon Chiasson Edge

Chaisson had 60 tackles and 6.5 sacks last campaign

4-Kristian Fulton CB

Fulton is a shutdown corner who had 14 pass defenses last season

5-Patrick Queen LB

Queen had 85 tackles for the Tigers in their championship year

The player that could push this over or under is safety Grant Delpit. I just feel that his overall play from a season ago and what was expected won’t get him selected in the first round, but that does not mean he won’t be a solid pro. He just isn’t 1st round worthy in the 2020 NFL draft.

Under 5.5 -325

With half the country on lockdown and the other staying at home, I figured I’d weigh in on the upcoming NFL draft which as of now according to sources is going to have no presence in Las Vegas at all. They will probably run the draft from a studio in New York and have a live video feed to all the teams. Stay tuned nothing is concrete yet but as of now no Las Vegas at all. Speaking of weighing in, that is me in the picture. What happened? Wendy’s triple cheeseburger television commercials.

Early NFL Draft Prop Plays

NFL Draft April 23-25

Draft Position on Players

Alabama Tua Tagovailoa  3.5

Over +140

Under -185

This number is interesting because if the Bengals are sold on taking LSU’s Joe Burrow with the first pick, and Washington gets their guy from Ohio St in Chase Young I’d lean over the 3.5 and the plus money. The Lions who sit at three are the only team that could push this under and drafting Tua would not benefit them at all at least in the 2020 season with still paying QB Matthew Stafford a pretty penny.

Oregon Justin Herbert 5.5

Over -160

Under +120

The Dolphins who sit at five are most definitely looking at a QB but it makes sense that they go with Tua who played in the south to take him at five and Herbert stays on the west coast and goes to the Chargers who didn’t take a QB in free agency at number six.

Oklahoma CeeDee Lamb 14.5

Over +110

Under -150

This looks like an under play considering at nine the Jaguars are in desperate need of an offensive weapon, the Jets at eleven are in the same boat. Plus, San Francisco who drafts at thirteen due to their trade with the Colts last week just lost WR Emanuel Sanders in free agency and the Raiders need to make a splash selection and Lamb would be that type of pick.

Ohio St Chase Young 2.5

Over +350

Under -500

The Redskins pick at number two and they seem to be a lock for grabbing Young at number two overall. Washington had one of the worst defenses in the league and Young could be an instant star just like former Buckeye Nick Bosawas last season for the Niners.

Total Tight Ends Drafted in Round 1

Over .5 +300

Under .5 -525

Usually this position has a stud coming out of the Midwest and would fit the need of some team in the NFL. However, there just doesn’t seem like there is that type of impact tight end in the draft so the under looks really easy but at a hefty price.

What Running Back will Be Drafted 1st

Georgia D’Andre Swift -190

Wisconsin Jonathan Taylor +145

Both players are exceptional athletes, but I have to say I’m surprised about how Swift’s price is. Taylor had a better season last year and Swift did get injured at the end of the year. I know late in round 1 that the Dolphins (who draft #26th) were interested in both running backs but that may have subsided after they picked up Jordan Howard from Philadelphia in free agency. If Miami were to pass, the Chiefs who pick last in the first round have really been looking at Swift so even though I really like Taylor, Swift might be -190 for a significant reason.
