SATURDAY, JANUARY 8

UNDER 52 CHIEFS/BRONCOS

EAGLES +11 OVER COWBOYS

The Broncos are 3rd best in the league (doesn't seem like it but it is true) in points against. The Chiefs defense has given up 17 points or less in 7 of their last 9 games.

I'll take the Eagles with double digit points considering they have won 6 of their last 7 games and held their opponents to 18 or less in 6 of those same last 7 contests.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 9

BEARS +5.5 OVER VIKINGS

The Bears have scored 25 points or more in 3 of their last 4 games. Chicago's defense has been tremendous against the pass in the 2nd half of the season (allowed just 1 QB to go for 200+ yards in last 8 games). The Vikings are out of the playoffs and have actually lost 3 straight at home against the Bears

DOLPHINS +6 OVER PATRIOTS

For whatever reason the Dolphins continue to give the Pats fits. Miami is 5-3 in their last 8 straight up against New England (which includes an opening season victory).

49ERS +4.5 OVER RAMS

Rams head coach Sean McVey is a career 0-5 straight up against San Francisco. Matt Stafford has thrown 6 picks in his last 3 games and has 2 picks (one was a pick 6) in loss earlier this year versus Niners.

CARDINALS -6 OVER SEAHAWKS

The Cards won earlier matchup by double digits with Colt McCoy at quarterback and the Seahawks don't have much to play for since it's time to say sayonara to Russell Wilson and head coach Pete Carroll.

BUCCANEERS -1 OVER PANTHERS

OVER 42 CHARGERS/RAIDERS

Tampa Bay just 2 weeks ago routed Carolina by 26 in Charlotte and Brady always beats bad teams. Both the Raiders and Chargers are in the top 7 in the league in passing. Both squads are also in there bottom half of the NFL in points allowed.
