Hopefully “mother nature” will cooperate and we can have another midweek NASCAR event. Last week was from Darlington and tonight we will conclude from Charlotte. Sunday night’s race ended in controversy, so will tonight’s be similar? Here are my 6 props and points on why I feel these are the plays of the night in NAASCAR.

Harry’s Six Pack

Odd or Even Number of Winning Car

+140 Odd

-185 Even

On this type of track, I’ll take the 9 car of Chase Elliott who has had an interesting week to say the least and has been at the top of all leaderboards of late. Also, Martin Truex (19 car) has a great history here and Denny Hamlin (11 car) has two wins out of seven races this season.

+140 Odd

Match-Ups

-120 Denny Hamlin

-110 Brad Keselowski

Hamlin has wins in Daytona and Darlington this year, but his night was over early on Sunday night (earliest out of any driver). Look for Hamlin to bounce back with a solid performance in Charlotte.

-120 Hamlin

-150 Ryan Newman

+115 Chris Buescher

Buescher ran a quality race four days ago and scored a top 10 finish. I don’t like his chances to do it again, plus Newman has driven well since his horrific wreck in Daytona.

-150 Newman

-215 Martin Truex Jr

+160 Brad Keselowski

Truex led for 87 laps on Sunday and Keselowski was fortunate to pull off the victory. Brad may hang back and not push it here, meanwhile Truex is averaging a third-place finish in his last three races in Charlotte.

-215 Truex

-130 Jimmy Johnson

+100 Erik Jones

Johnson seems to be snake-bitten a bit will a wreck two races ago and a failed post-race inspection this past Sunday. Johnson has three career wins in Charlotte and will come back with a positive run and will finish higher than Erik Jones.

-130 Johnson

-150 Ryan Blaney

+115 Kurt Busch

Blaney ran his best race of the year since Daytona and was able to sneak in a top 3 finish on Sunday. Blaney has 77 laps led this campaign and Kurt Busch has just 54 and he got them all in one race. If Blaney is running to his potential, don’t could him out from stealing the win at 20/1.

-150 Blaney

There is my 6 pack of NASCAR props for Thursday night in Charlotte.
