It has been a wild three weeks of racing and now with Florida being a memory for quite some time NASCAR moves on to my old home town of Las Vegas this week and my current home town of Phoenix next week. Here are my best plays for the Pennzoil 400 this week in Sin City.
-125 KYLE BUSCH OVER RYAN BLANEY
In 19 career racing in Vegas Kyle does have a win to his credit and has 7 top 5's. Through the first 3 weeks of the season Ryan Blaney has had a tough go of it and has yet to find his grove.
-150 AUSTIN DILLON OVER TYLER REDDICK
Reddick has only raced here twice with just a 18th place finish being his best and Dillon has had some success here with two top 5's in 11 tries.
-125 DENNY HAMLIN OVER KYLE LARSON
I'm looking for Hamlin after last week's penalty issues in Miami to bounce back with a complete race and record a top 3 finish.
+100 KURT BUSCH OVER ALEX BOWMAN
Since February 2018, Busch has 6 top 10's and 3 top 5's.
+220 JOEY LOGANO OVER LARSON/BLANEY/KYLE BUSCH
Since 2018, Logano has 2 wins in Nevada and has led for over 300 laps during that time span.
+225 RYAN NEWMAN OVER MCDOWELL/CHASTAIN/WALLACE
Newman in 22 career races in Vegas Newman has 10 top 10's and has led for 112 laps over that span. Meanwhile, in 25 career races with the other 3 they have led for a total of just 29 laps. Also, in 5 career races in Las Vegas, Chastain has just one top 20 and McDowell in his last 6 races here has a best finish of 14th.
