Imagine this…you’re playing a par 3, 132 yards. Seems like an

easy 8 iron, 9 iron, or wedge for most of us, right? Then what if I

told you the entire shot was over water? Oh…and the pin is in

front.

Welcome to the iconic 17 th hole at TPC Sawgrass where a single

short par-3 can ruin singlehandedly ruin players’ tournaments.

You can’t say that about any other short par 3 on tour with the

exception of maybe the 12 th at Augusta.

This week Iit’s time for the unofficial fifth major at the event where

COVID stopped the PGA TOUR in its tracks last season, The

Players Championship.

A ridiculously stacked field takes on the 7200 yard gettable track

in what is a must watch on championship Sunday.

Big hitters, shorter hitters, favorites, and long shots have all won

in the last decade so there’s really not a rhyme or reason to

picking a winner this week.

Can The Parlay Kid continue his streak of picking a winner every

other week since January? (I hope so as he and have some

duplication – coincidental I promise). Congrats also to Producer

Michael for picking his first winner of 2021 after a slow beginning!

Once again the rules: each picker will get a simulated $200 to bet;

$100 of which will be on win bets and another $100 on top-5, top-

10, and top-20 bets only. The kicker this time is that the money

can only be spent on a maximum of three golfers in each

category. Picking winners has never been so difficult.
