If THE PLAYERS Championship is the 5 th Major…this week in

Austin might be the unofficial 6 th . I love match play in general and

it’s even better when you can watch the world’s best have at it for

5 days in a really fun format.

I went to the tournament the last year it was in Marana, AZ, 2014,

and saw the quarterfinals and semis on a Saturday. That year

Jason Day won it but two young no-names gave it a strong run,

Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth.

I’d try to break down this week’s tournament from a betting

perspective but let’s be honest, just like March Madness, your

guess is as good as mine. Flip a coin, draw out of a hat, or simply

listen to Parlay Kid…to see if his every other week winning streak

can reach 5 with his three picks below!

Once again the rules: each picker will get a simulated $200 to bet;

$100 of which will be on win bets and another $100 on top-5, top-

10, and top-20 bets only (this week on first stage group wins). The

kicker this time is that the money can only be spent on a

maximum of three golfers in each category. Picking winners has

never been so difficult.
