The Tar Heels played the Hokies in January on the road and lost that one by two points. However, despite having a tough season North Carolina has beat the likes of nonconference foes Oregon, Alabama and UCLA. Look for Garrison Brooks to lead UNC to a 7 to 10 pointvictory. Brooks averages 17 points a game but in three of his last five games he has scored 22 or more points.

New York Islanders @ Vancouver Canucks Total is 5.5

The Islanders this season on the road versus the Western Conference is 12-1 on games going under. New York is really struggling as they have lost 10 of their last 12 games as they start a new west coast trip in Vancouver. The Canucks have had a tough time putting the puck in the net as they have scored three or more goals in just two of their last six contests.
