*******UPDATE 3/7*******
I gave you Rory at 5:1 , he is now +250 to win. Grab this!
Heres a few matchups for Sat 3/7 Only
Rickie Fowler -155 Over
Scottie Scheffler
Hideki Matsuyama -. 5 strokes (half a stroke) -165 Over
Graeme McDowell
Danny Lee +110 Over Harris English
The PGA makes its second stop on the Florida swing this week in Orlando. Unfortunately, Tiger Woods, a staple at this prestigious event will not be attending due to a back flare up but plenty of superstars will be making a run this weekend in Orlando. So, lets dive into plenty of props to take shots at in the PGA this weekend.
To Make the Cut
-400 Sungjae Im
Im just keeps improving and it’s hard not to take the winner at the Honda Classic last week. Im also finished third here a season ago.
-345 Rickie Fowler
Fowler has been struggling after missing the cut last week and needs a major pick-me-up and gets it here.
-250 Viktor Hovland
Hovland already has a victory (Puerto Rico Open) to his credit and might as this time be the best Oklahoma St Cowboy on the PGA Tour (even better than Fowler).
-225 Billy Horschel
Horschel has been playing solid golf of late and has a top 20 finish here in 2017.
To Miss the Cut
+200 Colin Morikawa
This course can play extremely difficult and it will be Morikawa’s first time and I have a hunch he doesn’t do well on the water holes.
+190 Henrik Stenson
Speaking of hunches, even though Stenson has a nice history here he has not played much at all lately and comes out rusty with back to back 73’s and misses the cut.
Group Winner
+300 Brooks Koepka
+330 Jason Day
+360 Byeong Hun An
+400 Justin Rose
+400 Colin Morikawa
Well, I’ve already expressed my feelings about Morikawa, and despite winning here before Jason Day has been inconsistent over a decent period of time now. Rose has been spotty also and Koepka is making way too many bogeys lately. So my pick for winner in this group is
+360 Byeong Hun An
An has been playing some dynamite golf finishing fourth last week at the Honda Classic. Last year he scored a top 10 finish here and in 2018 a top 15. At +360 An is worth a shot versus these big names in the game.
Winning Margin
+250 1 stroke
+400 2 strokes
+550 3 strokes
+275 4 or more
+400 After a playoff
Top 20 Finish
+160 Matthew Fitzpatrick
Fitzpatrick seems to shine in sunny Florida and an example is his second place finish here last year. At only 25 years old, Fitzpatrick according to the PGA rankings is 24th in the world.
To Finish Exactly 1-2
70/1 Rory McIlroy/Tommy Fleetwood
Last three years here Rory has gone 6th, win, and 4th
Fleetwood finished 3rdlast year and had a top 10 in 2017
To Win, Top 5 & Top 10
Tommy Fleetwood
14/1 To Win
+350 Top 5
+150 Top 10
Fleetwood finished 3rdlast week in southern Florida and is now ranked 10th in the world. He has some incredible stats such as he’s 18th in sand saves, 21stin overall scoring and is 8th in greens in regulation.
To Win & Top 5
Rory McIlroy
5/1 To Win
+125 Top 5
McIlroy is on the verge of doing spectacular things this season and that theory can really kick into high gear with a win in Orlando this week. McIlroy just recently took over the top spot in the world rankings from Brooks Koepka. He is also third in the FedEx Cup standings and has five top 10’s already this season. Speaking of great stats, Rory has “just a few” as well. He is sixth in birdies, third in driving distance, second in eagles and first in scoring average. This guy is the whole package and this week he might just solidify it at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
GOOD LUCK !! Harry.
