Clemson vs LSU

We all saw the offensive attack LSU unleashed against Oklahoma in the semifinal game and would seem to be the play in this spot but Clemson head coach Dabo Sweeney will be ready for what LSU throws at him and his players. Clemson started slow against Ohio St in the Fiesta Bowl falling behind 16-0 and Sweeney knows his team didn’t bring their “A” game and realizes they must play hard for 60 minutes if the expect to win the game.

Last year in the championship game the underdog Tigers won the 1st quarter against Alabama (14-13 1st Q) and after that Ohio St game I expect the defending national champions to get off to a good start with maybe some sort of trickery from undefeated (25-0) sophomore quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Watch for Clemson to set the tone early as they get an early score or two and let their defense who gave up the least points a game on average in the nation to show that just because they play in the subpar ACC that they are and will continue to be a force as they become the kings of college football knocking the Crimson Tide from their perch.
