-6.5 Buffalo Bills over New York Jets

I don’t feel that the Jets did much to improve their team meanwhile the Buffalo Bills went out and traded for wide receiver Stefon Diggs from the Minnesota Vikings. Josh Allen of the Bills led the Bills to the playoffs and had over 500 yards rushing along with his over 3,000 passing yards. Sam Darnold has seen more ghosts than wins in his career.

+6 Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots

We all remember how the Dolphins beat the Patriots in New England in the last game of the regular season and the loss knocked the Patriots from the second seed heading into last season’s playoffs. The Dolphins finally spent some money in free agency (grabbed the likes of DT Shaq Lawson from Buffalo) and WR Devante Parker is a solid weapon who had 1200 yards receiving and 9 TD’s for the turquoise and orange. I just can’t trust the Patriots receivers to make enough plays to cover 6 points on opening day.

Under 47.5 New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers

Big Ben is back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he is 38 years old and I’m not sure can last another full season in the NFL. This team didn’t have a running back with more than 500 yards last season and were horrible all season long on offense. The Giants went offensive line early in the draft to hopefully make holes for Saquon Barkley and allows them to chew up clock with an efficient ground game.

+7 Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers

This Cardinals offense is loaded with trading for D Hopkins and the emergence of MVP candidate QB Kyler Murray. Murray had almost 4000 yards and had 20 tds, plus 500 yards rushing in his rookie season. The Cards came close to winning straight up in the two games last season against the Niners. Running back Kenyan Drake could be the difference in this game and he scored eight TD’s in the last eight games of the season.

Over 54 Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs

These two teams met up last year twice, once in the regular season and the other came from the semi-finals playoff game. In both games played last year the over hit with 82 points in their playoff games. When the Texans opened last season in week 1 on primetime on a Monday there was 58 points scored in that game with the New Orleans Saints.
